Lennox, Ron, Dale and Earl

~ Lennox, Ron, Dale and Earl ~

Some years ago, Lennox and Ron welcomed Dale and Earl into their home. Since then, they have become a family and have greatly impacted each other’s lives.

In 2021, Lennox and Ron met Dale and Earl, two Nigerian Dwarf goat brothers, at a farm. They thought the brothers were adorable and funny and decided to adopt them both. As soon as they met, there was no doubt in Lennox and Ron’s minds that Dale and Earl had found their new home.

Having Dale and Earl has had a big impact on Lennox and Ron. They both bring so much joy, peace and laughter into Lennox and Ron’s lives. No matter what, they know their fuzzy friends can always brighten their day.

Something that Lennox, Ron, Dale and Earl enjoy is spending time with one another, playing and running in the pasture together as well as watch the brothers living their best life. When feeling like more of a relaxing activity, Lennox and Ron love to just sit and brush Dale and Earl and be with them.

The impact that Dale and Earl have had on Lennox and Ron has been huge. Since adopting them, every day has been filled with endless laughter, joy and unconditional love.

Ariane, Ron and Gus — February 4, 2022

Ariane, Ron and Gus

~ Ariane, Ron and Gus ~

Just over a year ago, Ariane and Ron adopted Gus. Since then, he has helped them through some tough times and has brought so much happiness into their lives.

Before adopting Gus, sadly Ariane’s 16-year-old dog died. She and Ron had her for the last two years of her life and ensured she had the best life possible. It was a very difficult time for them both after losing her.

She felt there was something missing in their home and so, she and Ron started searching for another furry friend. They looked online for older dogs and retired dogs in New Zealand.

During their search, they found a retired 16-month-old farm dog named Gus and fell in love. They organised a time to go visit him in Kaikohe. When they met him, he was a bit shy and reserved. However, they decided to adopt him, and once he was home with them, he began to feel comfortable and let his true colours show.

Having Gus has had a huge impact on Ariane and Ron. After a long day at work, being excitedly greeted by him never fails to brighten their day. They all enjoy going for walks together and being in each other’s company. Gus loves to be around his humans and bring joy into their lives. He has improved their lives immensely and encourages them to wake up each day excited for what might await them.

Not only this, but Gus has also greatly helped Ariane and Ron’s relationship. Before they adopted him, they felt themselves growing further away from each other, however, thanks to him, they’re now closer than ever. Having Gus gave Ariane and Ron someone to focus on and to look forward to at the end of every day.

One of their favourite things to do together is going on adventures. They love to explore new places while out for a walk, a car trip, or even hiking! As well as this, they love teaching Gus new tricks. As he’s a heading dog and a former farm dog, he loves to learn. He can sit, roll over, play dead, shake and more. Gus even uses talking buttons. These are set with different words so he can communicate with his humans. So far, he knows which buttons mean treats, play, walk and more.

With Gus in their life, Ariane and Ron feel their family is more complete. He has brought them endless happiness and unconditional love. They have all helped one another and improved each other’s lives.
